Mixed Media Studies: Wildlife (Home School)

All Levels

Students will have fun exploring the relationship between art and nature through various mixed media projects. They will make a nature diorama featuring trees and mushrooms using clay and plaster. When dry, they will paint it with acrylic paints. They will learn about our local wildlife, creating 3D birds that "fly" through the studio. Fantasy birds are also welcome to join the flock. This session will enable students to assemble sculpture also utilizing found recyclable materials.
